- Fly, Ride, and Fly Ride (FR): Regular Frost Dragons with Fly Potions, Ride Potions, or both applied. Fly Ride is the most common trade tier for standard Frost Dragons since it combines both mobility perks.
- Neon Frost Dragon: created by combining four fully-grown Regular Frost Dragons in the Neon Cave. The Neon version has cyan glowing accents on the horns, hooves, and chest, and trades at a serious premium over Regular versions. Neon Fly Ride (NFR) is the most popular trade tier at this level.
- Mega Neon Frost Dragon: created by combining four fully-grown Neon Frost Dragons, which means 16 original Frost Dragons in total. The Mega version cycles through rainbow colors on its glowing spots and sits at the very top of the Frost Dragon rarity ladder. Mega Neon Fly Ride (MFR) is the endgame variant and one of the most valuable single pets you can own in Adopt Me.
How Rare Is the Frost Dragon in Adopt Me?
The Frost Dragon is classified as a Legendary rarity pet, which is the highest tier in Adopt Me's rarity system. But its actual rarity in 2026 goes well beyond its Legendary status because the pet is permanently unavailable through any current in-game method.
Frost Dragons were only obtainable during the 2019 Christmas Event, which ran from December 12, 2019 to January 2, 2020. That's a window of roughly three weeks in a game that's now been running for years. Every Frost Dragon in circulation today comes from that original event window, and no new ones have entered the ecosystem since.
Combine that fixed supply with Adopt Me's active player base growing massively since 2019, and the ratio of Frost Dragons to interested players keeps getting worse for buyers. Mega Neon Frost Dragons are especially rare because creating one required a player to hatch or trade for 16 Frost Dragons during or shortly after that event window, then grind them all to full growth and complete two Neon combinations.
How Get Frost Dragon in Adopt Me?
Historically, the Frost Dragon was sold in the Adopt Me shop during the 2019 Christmas Event for 1,000 Robux. Players could buy it directly during that window, which is why owners from that era paid roughly $10 USD for a pet that now trades for significantly more in the secondary market.
The Frost Dragon has not returned to the shop since January 2020 and Adopt Me developers have not indicated any plans to bring it back. That leaves two practical ways to obtain a Frost Dragon in 2026:
